Multi-Events scoring calculator's field event marks should be entered as metric marks only using the format 0.00! Times should be entered using the format 0.00,00! If hand-timed, add 0.24 for 100m/110mH and 0.14 for 400m!
------------------------------------------------------------- I had an idea that might be of interest. Just for the fun of it, I went to the IAAF site and took all of the world records for the regular open events and plugged them into Decathlon points calculator, so for example, I totaled up a decathlon with Usain Bolt's 100 and Jan Zelezny's javelin, etc, all the way through all ten events. I think it would be fun to list this statistic, too, on the site. It is very interesting that Zelezny's javelin world record is the second-highest scoring event among all the world records - an even more amazing statistic because javelin is one of the lowest-rewarding events in the decathlon tables! Amazing!
